Wolfenstein 3D Confirmed for XBLA

With Doom and Marathon already available on Xbox Live Arcade, id Software will now complete the classic FPS trifecta with an upcoming release of the original Wolfenstein 3D.The confirmation came through an oddly low-key approach, with a product page for the game quietly appearing on Xbox.com (via CVG). As you can see on the page, little information is provided, with the release date still listed as "TBD."

According to people in the official forums, the tickets sold out in record time, some even say they sold out instantly thanks to Blizzard's new ticket queue system.

All 41 Rock Band Unplugged Songs

A few months ago we posted a partial setlist from upcoming Playstation Portable rocker Rock Band Unplugged.

It looks like the official website for the game has expanded the list by a few, adding another five or so songs to the list of music coming on the game. On top of that, someone's posted what is supposed to be video captured from an early leak of the game showing the full setlist.

I used to have this nightmare all the time where I forgot to show up for my Spanish finals in college and couldn't graduate.

See, I was a semester away from graduating when they discovered I needed to take one Spanish class to be able to earn both my degrees. I took the class, but then on the day of finals I had to tell the professor that I had to leave to go cover the gubernatorial election. The candidate, who went on to win, was a professor at University of Maryland who had granted me quite a bit of access to his campaign.

Unique FPS That Merged Single & Multiplayer Gets Shelved

Man, I remember reading about this game in Edge a few years back and thinking "they will never get this to work". And they haven't, as The Crossing has been put on hold.

The game, by Arkane Studios, promised to blend single & multiplayer gaming, by making real humans your faceless opponents in a singleplayer game. While my reservations were based on a combination of concerns, both technical and ethical (on the side of your opponents in a singleplayer game), tuns out the game has been shelved not for those reasons, but for financial ones.
