|   When game designer Tomonobu Itagaki headed up Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden franchise, he stated that Ninja Gaiden II was the last title in the series. But the franchise isn't his anymore. New Team Ninja lead ninja Yosuke Hayashi hinted to website Kikizo that there very well could be more in store for Ninja Gaiden. "Regardless of what Itagaki-san said before," Hayashi said, "in time, what the consumers, the gamers are looking for is going to be the next chapter — the future of an outstanding series." |

|  NIS America certainly knows how to pick them. We had the opportunity to play around with this dungeon-digging game, originally known as Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida Or 2, at the 2008 Tokyo Game Show and enjoyed it immensely. The retro visuals and simple gameplay were incredibly addictive, and now that we have a translated version with a tutorial, we've realized that it's a lot harder than we originally thought. The demos we played with at TGS weren't nearly this mind-boggling, so be prepared for a tough 8-bit challenge. |

Judging by the latest set of screenshots for the smaller, touch-enable version of the latest installment of The Sims, you can also barge into people's houses and kick over trash cans. The 175,000 Xbox 360s sold in April represents a drop of 7% from this time last year, leaving the company to try and focus on things like the fact that "Xbox 360 sales were up 28 percent year-on-year in the first four months of 2009" and that some of the most popular 360 titles for the month included Godfather II and, uh, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith. |
