| FIFA 10 Screenshots Emerge From The Tunnel June 4, 2009 at 10:30 pm |
| FIFA 10 is new. You knew it was coming, but still, new is new. And after reading our impressions of the game, why not sink your studs into the soft, fleshy shins of these screens If anything is clear about the new look of Splinter Cell: Conviction, it's that Sam Fisher is a changed man. After losing his daughter in what was believed to be an accident, Sam learns the tragedy was planned as a personal attack. | Overheard@E3: Silent Hill will hate me June 4, 2009 at 10:15 pm |
| At the start of Konami's Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, a psychiatrist performs an evaluation on players, prodding them with some fairly personal questions. Answering the "Do you roleplay during sex?" question is probably one of the tougher ones to answer truthfully in full view of other E3 attendees. (Hell yes, if you were wondering. Also, stop that.) E3 2009 marks the first time Konami let us get our hands on Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the Nintendo Wii, and while the hands-on were brief, they were definitely illuminating. Konami has announced that the original Metal Gear Solid will finally be heading to the PlayStation Store in America -- and pretty soon, too.

| Hands-on: New Super Mario Bros. Wii June 4, 2009 at 10:07 pm |
| Ahh that old familiar feeling. It's been a few years since we played New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS -- and yes, we loved it with all of our bitter, embattled hearts. Three years later and the Nintendo Wii's sorta sequel of the DS hit is set to release this holiday. We did, however, get to put our dirty mitts on the game on the show floor at E3 (with three other folks in tow, to test out the four player co-op). | New Quantum Screens Are No Longer Theoretical June 4, 2009 at 3:20 pm |
| Tecmo's "TPS" Quantum is reporting for PlayStation 3 exclusive duty in 2010. The third-person shooter looks very Japanese in its visual design, but Western in its cover system-focused gameplay. The twist(!) in Quantum (known elsewhere as Quantum Theory—yes, that game!) is that the things one needs to find cover behind may change, as you'll battle big demonic things in a living tower. That Tecmo. So clever! We get a look at Ratchet's new weapons and Clank's new time-control ability in the duo's latest adventure. After teasing us with the all-too-brief Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty last year... Fitting the other team's cake-engorged princess into the giant PlayStation 3 was easy; how they've managed to cram her into the PSP is something we don't really want to think about.
